WORLD OF EVENTS can land the bumper at the main expense of Definite All Star and Allow Me. Howard Johnson has started the season well and his record in bumpers is hard to ignore. His runner here World Of Events shaped with plenty of promise on his debut when he finished third behind Sheepclose. He raced a little too keenly that day and he still wasn't beaten far and if he can settle better today then he looks capable of running a big race. Definite All Star is another that took a keen hold on his debut at Navan but he ran a race full of promise and the heavy ground probably didn't do him any favours either. Allow Me travelled well enough on his racecourse bow at Newcastle but he lacked a finishing kick and he came home third behind Willie Hall. He clearly has ability so he can't be ruled out, but he will need to improve to get his head in front today. The market can often provide the clues in these type of events so if there was money for either Steel Edge or Wyse Hill Teabags then it could pay to take the hint. However, Howard Johnson won this race last year and he can land the prize again with World Of Events.
