In depth

Verdict

Madeeh failed in a bid for a hat-trick off today’s mark at Chester and it remains to be seen how Ben Lilly copes with a further 4lb rise having landed a double over 1m6f this month. Roman's Empress beat Spycracker over a shorter trip here three weeks ago and is 6lb higher while Araka Li finished runner-up over 1m3f at Hamilton last time. But GOOD VIEW has the most scope of these and the drop in trip shouldn’t be a problem for David O’Meara’s filly having won by a wide-margin over 2m1f at Pontefract on only her second start handicapping.
