      Verdict

      MERE GREEN has faced tough tasks in Group races either side of finishing runner-up in a novices race at Haydock. She may prove good enough on these terms and is preferred to stablemate Tommy And Andy. Echo Beach posted a better effort at Haydock last time and is going the right way while Silvestris has gone close on his last couple of outings though a wide draw is not ideal. Say It As It Is has a shout on an earlier third at Windsor while the newcomer Discomatic represents last year’s winning yard.
