It is good to see Alan Berry back amongst the winners and Obe One can land him this prize at the expense of Alulica and Astorygoeswithit. As a result of the stable's poor form over the last tweleve months or so, Obe One has been gradually slipping down the weights. The horse hit a bit of form this time last year when runner up in two competitive events off much higher marks and there were signs of a form revival last time out. Alucica hasn't been raised too much for hard fought success on the all-weather last time out and should go well, although she may be slightly better over a shorter trip. Astorygoeswithit hasn't raced on the turf for along time but did show improved form last time out at Southwell and cannot easily be dismissed. The best of the rest could be top-weight penel, but our idea of the winner is Obe One.
