Verdict
Hurricane Jack sets the standard as the weights amply demonstrate but the problem so far this season has been which version of Lucinda Russell's inmate turns up on the day. At his best he'll win, but such is the erratic nature of his form this term that TEARS FROM HEAVEN could be a safer option, especially in receipt of weight from all rivals. He's consistent if limited and has shown steady progress in three runs over fences, most recently when hunting up Definite Appeal here on New Year's Day. On that evidence, he should play a leading role. Stuff Of Dreams is almost certainly better than he's shown of late, whilst Why Are You Asking is consistent enough in this grade and should be on the premises once again.
