        Verdict

        Dower Glen was considered as listed class last season but he has failed to live up to that billing so after a good win in similar company last time MELODY IN THE MIST is taken to land this seller ahead of Final Ovation. Having left maiden company in search of easier opportunities the selection obliged on her first run in the claiming ranks to score with a bit in hand. She is the highest rated in this field and well weighted to that extent so as long as she handles softer conditions she should follow up. At the weights Final Ovation is on level terms with the selection but his recent form is not as good which is why the vote has gone elsewhere. Dower Glen has plenty to do on these terms but could be better than he's shown so far while Masked Dance improved for plating company last time and should challenge for the minor prizes. Not a great contest this but Melody In The Mist has good claims on it.
