On A Promise had a good strike-rate over hurdles and was facing stiff opposition on his chasing bow at Carlisle in February. Having a first run for Keith Dalgleish, he worth a market check. Raecius Felix may be in the handicapper’s grip now but Stay Humble still has plenty of scope and there should be plenty more to come from Overcourt after a second at Sedgefield. CHAMPAGNE NOIR jumped well at Doncaster but, not for the first time, didn’t quite last home over 3m. He’s back over his winning trip today and may take some pegging back.
