Another small field goes to post for this claimer and the main protagonists look to be Mabel Riely, Mezereon and Manx Fizz and we will take a chance on Mezereon. The colt from the James Given yard has only one victory to his name and that came on the AW but he has not been disgraced in much better races on turf of late and with the drop in grade sure to suit he will be hard to beat with conditions in his favour. Mabel Riely rates the main danger she is a real speedster and only just sees out this trip. This course should suit and a reproduction of her latest third behind Relative Hero would see her go close but she has had plenty of chances and only has one victory to her name so for that reason we will oppose her on this occasion. Manx Fizz is another that would have chances on his best form but all his best efforts have come over seven furlongs and he is not sure to stay the trip. Of the remainder Greenwood Tree is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but we are happy to side with Mezereon who has the most solid form.
