Jim Goldie holds a strong hand in this as he saddles Titus Bolt, who made a successful reappearance over 1m4f here 12 days ago when favourite Rocky Two was only third, and the consistent Grand Diamond. Geanie Mac, like the latter, has also been knocking on the door while Royal Etiquette arrives off the back of a five-length win at Windsor under Alex Ferguson, though now has a penalty to carry. GIOVANNI JACK beat Geanie Mac by eight lengths here at the start of the month and wasn't beaten far off his new mark at Carlisle later when the shorter trip wouldn't have helped. He can recapture the winning thread here with the booking of Simon Walker a massive plus.
