Fire Up The Band is the selection with Whinhill House and Elijah Pepper the dangers. The ex-Dandy Nicholls sprinter is now based with Alan Berry and while it is clear that he is incapable of showing the same ability that he once had, this is his grade and he shouldn't be that far away. Whinhill House had a recent near miss at Carlisle. Connections will be hoping that the rain stays away. Elijah Pepper is surprisingly dropped in grade. That said, he runs as if the trip will suit him better than the six furlongs he has recently ran over. Baileys Outshine was once promising but has failed to go on. Angelofthenorth is a course specialist and beat Best Lead when the pair met at the track last month. It would be a surprise were any of the others good enough at these terms. Many of the usual suspects at this grade and Fire Up The Band is our pick.
