Wolverhampton claiming stakes winner Kames Park has struggled in better races since then and looks best left out of calculations here, with a safer bet looking to be Royal Amnesty, who gets the vote ahead of Lochiel. The last mentioned looks to be going the right way judged by his reappearance success in a Hamilton maiden and he has to be respected on his debut in a handicap off what seems a fair mark. Alan Swinbank's Key Decision has improved with each start and has to be considered but seems a shade high in the weights at present, while Wild Fell Hall is hard to recommend on recent form and looks plenty high enough in the weights. The vote then goes to recent Hamilton winner Royal Amnesty, who is taken to supplement that success and follow up here off his 6lb higher mark.
