BEAT THE EDGE may well have won at Market Rasen if not for a mistake at the penultimate fence. He gets a change of headgear looking to go one better. A poor round of jumping did for Duke Of Deception here a fortnight ago though he went close at Kelso before that while Dr Shirocco finished runner-up over a shorter trip at the same fixture here and is creeping closer to a first win. Warriors Story went close at Ayr earlier and will appreciate this return to faster ground.
