Jackday won over C&D in May and bounced right back to form when successful over 2m at Ripon earlier this month. A 3lb rise in the weights isn't excessive but the six-year-old may struggle to beat ODIN'S RAVEN on these terms. Brian Ellison has his string firing on all cylinders and his charge defied big odds to land an apprentices' race at York on his return to the Flat having been in excellent form over hurdles previously. Red Kestrel was very disappointing when favourite at Doncaster on his latest start while Record Breaker appears to have gone backwards again since scoring at Pontefract in the spring. Dazzling Light is dropping toward a decent mark, however, and can play a part.
