Yankee Holiday has been knocking on the door of late and we hope it will finally swing open for him to score here at the expense of Guerilla and Schinkin Otto. The selection has finished second on each of his last three starts and is in danger of becoming a frustrating horse to follow. Having said that his form reads well and if able to reproduce his best here then he has every chance of eventually getting his head in front this time around. Guerilla was the winner of a little race at Stratford back in August and was not totally discredited at Catterick last time out when third to Storm Beech therefore has to be noted in the betting market. While Schinkin Otto payed the penalty for winning well at Sedgefield on his penultimate run and was below par off a six pound higher mark at Wetherby last time out so may well be weighted up to his best. So for the winner we return to Yankee Holiday.
