Sir Ejay can land the finale on his debut at the expense of Vincent Pipe and Talkin' Tough. The selection will not have to be a world beater to win this and has travelled from Ireland to hopefully win first time of asking for his trainer Charlie Swan. He looks a nice type on breeding and the betting market will be the best guide. Vincent Pipe is another who has his debut here and should be closely monitored in the betting while Talkin' Tough has the advantage of three runs under his belt. He looked to improve with each run and caught the eye when fourth of eleven on his latest run at Downpatrick to suggest he has the ability to win a race of this sort. Having said that he is exposed and we will prefer to side with newcomer Sir Ejay who appeals on breeding.
