It was fast ground when Marnie James won a York nursery in July and he hasn't done as well on softer going so connections will be hoping conditions dry out. Time Trail also looked suited by good to firm when completing a double in May and she's also been a bit disappointing on easier going. Ace Of Spades has had both runs on Polytrack at Kempton and showed potential last time but this can go to ROYAL PURSUIT. Kevin Ryan's colt pulled too hard on his debut over 6f at Newcastle but only faded in the closing stages and with that under his belt can take this. Eva Docc started out with a very good run at Hamilton in June but finished last on a return visit in August.
