It's only a year since ICEBLAST was finishing fifth to Sea Moon at York off a 23lb higher mark. He's disappointed since but this is a huge drop in class for the four-year-old and, back over arguably his best trip, he's given a final chance to prove he retains some ability. Goninodaethat was beaten less than a length at Ayr on his reappearance and races off the same mark while Gracie's Gift finally got his head in front again at Southwell last month and is only 3lb higher. Circuitous, successful at Ayr last month, and last week's Catterick second Bay Of Fires are others to consider.
