Verdict

In the hunter chase, the vote goes to Gudasmum ahead of Starbuck and Jupiter's Fancy. Your Scottish Hunter Chase form is probably as good as mine, and you are in trouble if it isn't; that said, Jupiter's Fancy comes here on the back of a fair course and distance hunter chase run; however, on the back of that effort, he has two lengths to find with the selection, although the overall form should make both competitive today. Starbuck was well seen off in fourth that day but better was expected as he was sent off as favourite. As ever with these types of races, the betting might paint its own picture but, ahead of that, we will side with Gudasmum, who has the very capable Rose Elliott in the saddle.
