        Verdict

        Aldreth scored easily at Newcastle on his first start over 2m but is upped in class off a 9lb higher mark. Miss Macnamara stays the distance and went close over hurdles last month while One More Go is upped a grade after winning at Ripon recently but remains unexposed on the Flat. Jonny Delta is not badly weighted on his best form of last year and course and distance winner Pass Muster should be thereabouts but GABRIAL THE DUKE is preferred. The latter has already won four times this year including twice at this venue and looks worth a try over today's longer trip.
