Verdict
Doncaster winner Best Of Order came up short when stepped up to this grade at York and is best in testing ground. Newstead Abbey looks in the handicapper's grip on his recent fourth at Chester, though he finished ahead of Tellovoi and Laffan. Majestic Moon finished runner-up over track and trip on his penultimate start when JUST PAUL proved too good. Philip Kirby's charge has since been beaten in soft ground but Joey Haynes' allowance puts him back on a winning mark so he gets the vote.
