Not too many of these are in the best of form but Mohawk Ridge is an exception after scoring on his latest outing in early April. Hitherto, he hasn't been the sort to deliver back-to-back victories and may just struggle here off a 5lb higher mark. Capellanus produced three successive runner-up efforts at Wolverhampton during the winter months and has definite claims if able to repeat that level returned to turf despite topweight. Torero is a possible but the choice is HAWDYERWHEESHT. Jim Goldie's gelding is the only course and distance winner in the line-up and may be better suited to this trip than his main rivals. He goes well at this venue and his overall form profile affords him every chance.
