The finale is a real puzzle for punters and a sporting chance is given to Joshua's Gold, with Headland and Kalani Star put forward as the main dangers. At least the selection is consistent, having finished in the money on his last five outings. Among those efforts he managed a victory at Catterick and following a decent run here on Saturday, he could be ready to return to winning ways. Headland has been steadily dropping down the weights and although he doesn't win very often, he could reward each-way support. Kalani Star's win ratio is even worse but he has put in some very good performances in defeat and should give backers a run for their money. Best of the others could be Baby Barry, but the fact that Joshua's Gold makes such a quick return to the track suggests he is at the top of his game and he gets our vote.
