Verdict
In the main these are a pretty inconsistent bunch and so we will take a chance with the top-weight Burnley Al who appears at the top of his game, Wayward Shot and Whatatodo could be the ones to chase him home. Richard Fahey's colt wasn't winning out of turn when beating a modest bunch here last time and gets only a three pound penalty for that success. That event was over seven furlongs but he did run particularly well over this distance on his previous outing and looks to be the safest prospect here. Wayward Shot wasn't far behind the selection last time and with a slight weight pull should be there or thereabouts again. Whatatodo hit winning form at Bath last time, beating some poor performers with reasonable ease, she has to be considered for each-way purposes. Just Bond could prove best of the rest, but now Burnley Al has found the winners enclosure once, he may find it again.
