A competitive finale may well go to The Ring, with Sharadi and Most Definitely the pair likely to give him the most to do. The selection is a consistent sort and he is effective on a variety of surfaces. He confirmed his well-being last time out when 5th behind High Action at Newmarket's July meeting and in what looks an easier race he looks the percentage call. Sharadi ran well last time when just beaten by Race The Ace at Goodwood. He is an improving sort who will be suited by the drop in trip but he likes to bowl along in front and he may not get the race run to suit here so could be worth taking on. Most Definitely looked like a winner waiting to happen when narrowly beaten by Best Port last time, and he is entitled to plenty of respect here and will not be far away at the finish. Turn of phrase is from an in-form yard and is another worth noting in the market, but in a race where there is little to choose between the leading contenders, The Ring just edges the narrow vote.
