In depth

Verdict

Stormy Weather was a decent juvenile last season but pulled much too hard on his reappearance at Newbury and weakened quickly up the straight. The top weight is capable of better but AMIR PASHA returned from a short break to finish a decent third over 2m4f here five days ago and could be the one today. James Halliday takes 5lb off Micky Hammond's six-year-old, who is proving very consistent. Rolecarr has gone up 7lb since finishing second to The Magic Bishop at Newcastle but still makes more appeal than Bucephalus, who may need the run, and the Lucinda Russell pair Quito Du Tresor and Devotion To Duty.
