In depth

Verdict

THIBAULT has the benefit of experience over hurdles having finished third at Kempton last month. With improvement expected today on his second start after wind surgery, Kim Bailey's charge gets the nod. Doctor Dex and Nefyn Point are closely matched on their placed efforts in a bumper at Perth back in April when the former finished runner-up and Tom George's charge finished second again on his reappearance in a Chepstow bumper in October. Get Out The Gate is a points winner but has shown little over hurdles so far.
