Half of these are course and distance winners with NEVER DARK having won this from 6lb higher a year ago. He also has the benefit of Jonny Peate's claim to aid his cause and has been running well enough to land the race again. Sheikh Maz Mahood has won two of his last three and, though 6lb higher, is progressing fast enough to be a threat along with last month's Hamilton winner Lady Lade, who got up in the final strides. Prospect likes a bit of cut in the ground over the minimum trip while Rory has been beaten twice off this mark since scoring at Newcastle.
