AL MUHEER had looked in the handicapper's grip until his latest start at Thirsk where he failed by only a short-head to catch Lord Aeryn. The C&D winner looks up to going one better in this lesser grade and Ruth Carr's charge gets the vote ahead of Green Howard. The latter recorded a hat-trick of 7f wins earlier and should be capable of winning again this season. It was soft ground when Vito Volterra scored at Pontefract last month and the unpredictable Copperwood is upped in class after popping-up at Newmarket last time. Imperator Augustus showed progressive form last year but has struggled so far this.
