Not the strongest of races by any stretch of the imagination and this looks a good opportunity for Zarzu to notch a deserved victory. Karl Burke's charge has struggled to get his head in front over shorter trips on the all-weather during the winter but showed his appreciation for the step up to this trip when a close fifth of 18 in a competitive handicap at Catterick late last month and is open to a little further improvement. Quito has been in fair form of late and confirmed his well being with a strong finishing third in a valuable handicap over six furlongs at Ripon. The extra furlong will suit and he looks sure to go close in this weaker event so rates a big danger. Flying Treaty was disappointing last time but is closely weighted with the selection on his previous effort at Catterick and can't be discounted but Opening Ceremony has had his problems and may need this following a near eight month absence.
