Verdict

KELPIES MYTH won over course and distance at this time last year and posted a better effort back here recently when sent off joint-favourite. Lucinda Russell’s charge may prove good enough ahead of Cousin Oscar, who last won over timber in 2017 but went close in a chase at Newcastle last time and gets a change of headgear. Something Brewing has only won a juvenile hurdle so far but ran well in a handicap at Kelso last month but maiden hurdle winner Goldencard will need to improve on his recent fourth at Carlisle.
