        Verdict

        Ouest Éclair wouldn't be without a chance here on his best form but he's very inconsistent. The Big Freeze could also go well while Captain Nash is lightly-raced and won at Hexham in March. Or De Grugy bounced back to form at Kelso last month but is 8lb higher here while September's Sedgefield runner-up Archie's Wish is 3lb out of the handicap. VIA ARCHIMEDE won over hurdles here in January off an identical mark and is unexposed over the larger obstacles. He can bounce back from a poor effort at Perth last time by landing this.
