In depth
Verdict
A very low-key start to Meydan's new season but Doug Watson invariably makes a quick start so I Got You Babe, who showed a little bit of potential for Richard Guest, is one to keep an eye on. Ali Al Raihe has made a flying start to the season with a double at Jebel Ali on Friday and arrives here with no less than five entries. It's a bit of a guessing game as to which will come out on top but Shark In The Sea has the benefit of a run on Friday and may prove the pick. Midnight Moon started off here last New Year's Eve and ran very well but his form deteriorated later. He would be a threat on that early run but FA'IZ looks the one to be on. The former Godolphin inmate showed some promise in the UK before shipped out here and though not looking a star he did enough to suggest a race of this nature was within his capabilities.
