      Verdict

      Sakhee's Return ended a long losing run at Catterick 10 days ago but has picked up a penalty and might struggle to confirm that form with close-up third Magical Effect. Jabbaar disappointed last time but Royal Connoisseur, Dark Profit and Roaring Forties could all figure on their best form. THOMAS CRANMER was two from three around here earlier in the season and is fancied to pick up the winning thread again now that he has his sights lowered. The handicapper has also relented in recent weeks.
