        Verdict

        High Wells went readily clear over a slightly shorter trip at Bath last week and should make a bold bid to follow up here under his penalty. But we’ll take a chance that COSTA PERCY can transfer his improvement over hurdles back to the Flat. He’s shown little on the level so far but has won twice and been placed twice over timber this summer so has ability. Rosemay has been placed four times over shorter trips but Knightsbridge Liam was beaten again dropped into a seller at Beverley last month and Elite Icon was only third when favourite at Hamilton.
