Verdict
Pammi won at Hamilton before going close again over track and trip last week in a higher grade than this. But a couple of these look a threat making their handicap debuts including Makawee. The latter was placed over today’s trip at Catterick last time but JOIE DE VIVRE is just preferred. Richard Fahey’s filly is bred for middle-distances and the form of her fifth over a mile at Nottingham last month has worked out well with both the winner and the third having subsequently won. Aphaea was placed at Thirsk on her handicap bow and looks best of the rest.
