In depth

Verdict

Eagle Ridge has been thriving around here but DEFINITE WISDOM, also a course and distance winner this term, is much better off at the weights than when behind Nick Alexander’s charge here in December and should get much closer. Grand Morning ran a shocker when favourite at Carlisle last time but never seems to run two races alike so could easily bounce back. Hills Of Connemara was given a superb ride by Sam Coltherd at Newcastle and will be having just his third start over fences so can’t be ignored.
