    Verdict

Magna Sam had been competing in points and hunter-chases before a fair handicap debut for new connections at Exeter. UPANDATIT made his debut over fences in a handicap at Ayr where he would have finished much closer but for a mistake at the last. Normal progress can see him beat Raecius Felix, who has been steadily dropping to a mark he should be capable of winning from. Off The Beat has been running poorly over timber and has his first start over fences while Anywayyoulookatit appears to have gone backwards though would have an outstanding chance on his form at Uttoxeter last year.
