First time blinkers on Harry Up may bring about some improvement, however Throw The Dice likes this ground and one of two Alan Berry runners in the lineup, he gets the nomination at the main expense of Ashes and Compton Classic. The selection doesn't have the best of strike-rates but he has been in fair form all season and now back on quicker ground, he is fancied to win. Sharp Hat should appreciate the drop in trip but the old boy is getting a bit long in the tooth for these dashes, so of more interest could be Maromito; a fellow course and distance winner who should appreciate the going. If it turns up soft then Compton Classic must be high on anyone's list. Whilst he is now 7lbs above his highest winning mark, he still looks like he is capable of winning from it. Obe One's two wins have come over this trip so the drop down in distance could be a good move, however it is Harry Up who is likely to be the main danger. He has been running in better races than this one and on a decent mark, Kevin Ryan's charge should be respected. A tough handicap, and narrow preference is for Throw The Dice.
