In depth

Verdict

Jim Goldie is responsible for half of this eight-strong field but Grand Diamond, as well as Eilean Mor, has twice had a rear view of Giovanni Jack here recently. Titus Bolt also looks held by the top weight but Dhaular Dhar was second over track and trip in July and keeps defying his years. TESTA ROSSA (NAP) was third at Newcastle two weeks ago and that looks the best form on offer so Joe Fanning's mount gets the nod with Gold Chain, a winner at Ayr in July, preferred to Pressure Point of the others.
