In depth

Verdict

Chinese Jade caught ARGAKI right on the line at Carlisle nine days ago but Keith Dalgleish's charge should take his revenge on 6lb better terms. The latter is well treated on his best form and makes more appeal than stablemate Porthos Du Vallon. Green Howard, like Chinese Jade, carries a penalty for a recent success but can't be ignored and Lockhart is eased in grade and also has a chance. Ralphy Boy is preferred to Ellaal of the others.
