      Verdict

      Primo's Comet seeks a sixth course victory and was third over track and trip latest when ahead of both Lady Lade and Havagomecca, though the latter pair were making their seasonal reappearance that day. David O’Meara’s yard has begun to click into gear so better is expected here from MR BEAUFORT, who is now only 2lb higher than when scoring on similar going at Goodwood last year and has the added bonus of Mark Winn’s claim. Modular Magic is on a long losing run but Riversway won three times last year, though hasn’t raced since September.
