      Verdict

      Though best known as a sprinter, GUNNERSIDE started off over a mile and won over this trip a couple of years. He also ran well on his only previous visit here and won at Southwell two runs ago. Code Purple is on a roll and won in a higher grade at Redcar last month with Giselles Izzy another fit from a campaign on the all-weather. Rumnotred started favourite at Southwell a month ago but was well beaten and has changed stables since.
