        Verdict

        Proud Archi made a winning reappearance at Beverley and is only upped 4lb. But ATTEQ scored by seven lengths at the same track last week and can shrug off a penalty on that evidence. Richard Fahey’s charge should confirm superiority with runner-up Dapper Man but Thomas Cranmer may prove a threat with last month’s pipe-opener at Southwell under his belt. Seduce Me drops in class and may figure but Mama Africa has not progressed as expected so far this year.
