        Verdict

        A quartet of last time out winners to consider but CLAYTON made the biggest impression. He won by nine lengths at Southwell on his racecourse debut in March without breaking sweat and Kevin Ryan's charge is hard to ignore. He returned a much faster time for his victory than Silver Blaze, who scored over the same C&D to win his maiden last month, while Prussian's win at Kempton earlier in the year hasn't worked out well although she did score by nearly four lengths. Border Revia takes a big step up in trip having opened his account over 6f at Ripon in September and Imtithal keeps finding at least one too good.
