Alcazar and Winged d'Argent look set to fight this one out at the finish and the vote is given to the last mentioned. The selection is in great form and has won each of his last two races. He hacked up last time to beat Jeepstar and as he is still progressing he looks capable of going in again. Alcazar should give him plenty to do though as he was third in a group 1 race behind Westerner in France last time. He will handle these conditions and will not be far away at the finish. Holy Orders finished well behind Alcazar in that contest so looks to have plenty on to reverse the placings. Fling made rapid late headway at Yarmouth last time to finish fifth behind Modesta and she is clearly a nice filly. However, she would need to improve dramatically to win this and for the winner we return to Winged d'Argent.
