Love Beauty, Cordage and Bayard are the three to catch the eye here and the nomination is given to the first mentioned. The selection was a little disappointing with his two runs during the summer but he put up a much improved effort following a three month lay-off from the track when second behind Mozafin at Haydock last time. That was on a soft surface and he clearly needs that to be seen to his best, and if there is any further rain he would be very difficult to oppose. Cordage is a colt by Dr Fong and he has shown plenty of promise on all of his three starts to date. He was a beaten favourite when a fair fourth behind Amica last time and he may be worth another chance to reward his supporters here and he looks to have decent place prospects. Bayard came home eye-catchingly on his debut when fourth behind Spear Thistle and he is one to note in the market, but the suspicion is that he will probably be seen to better effect next season over further. Dream Tonic and Bond Cat have both shown ability on their racecourse appearances so neither can be entirely ruled out, but for the winner we return to Love Beauty.
