Verdict

ALABASTER took the step up to 1m6f at Chelmsford in his stride to win his handicap debut. Look My Way was less than a length behind but there looks more to come from the winner in first-time headgear and Sir Mark Prescott’s colt is also preferred to Time To Study. The latter was placed over 1m2f at Newbury on his reappearance and makes more appeal than stablemates Mister Manduro and The Blues Master while Keith Dalgleish also runs three with recent course winner Euro Nightmare preferred. Cray won over today’s trip at Wetherby recently but is upped in class off a higher mark.
