SOLDIER’S MINUTE will be a very short price to record a second course and distance victory. He was far from disgraced in a Listed contest at Doncaster on his final start last year and could be one to follow in handicaps this season. Dazzle Gold is the only other to have shown worthwhile form so far but he was disappointing when favourite over a mile at Kempton in October, though possibly didn’t stay. He had been placed over this trip at the same track earlier.
