      Verdict

      A few of these have decent claims including last season's maiden winners King Of The Danes and Romantic Settings. Lady Artiste is another handicap debutante with more recent form having won nicely at Newcastle last month and Lazarus Bell's best form of last season entitles him to consideration. LONDON CITIZEN finished clear of the rest of the field when third on his comeback at Ripon. This looks less competitive and a similar effort should see him in the firing-line. Elaine Burke's charge gets the nod as multiple Southwell winner Apache Rising was less than impressive back on the Turf last time.
