Well Mett finally came good in a seller at Worcester earlier this week. He won easily but has a penalty to carry here, which might be a problem. Laughton Park won a conditionals' race at Plumpton in March but this looks a little more competitive with Regal Approach hinting at a return to form when third at Chepstow, though the latter needs more to reverse that form with BARTON GIFT. John Spearing's gelding is running well and Nico De Boinville's claim is a big factor in his favour here. He's preferred to Cara Court, disappointing when pulled up at Hexham last time and probably in the handicapper's grip now.
